Since 2006, Smiling for Smiddy has raised more than $1.1 million for world-class cancer research and support services in memory of Adam Smiddy.
Our beneficiaries include:
- Mater Foundation (major beneficiary) to deliver research across melanoma drug trials; prostate cancer; and complementary therapies for cancer patients;
- LIVESTRONG Cancer Research Centre at the Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer, South Australia, to undertake research on cancer prevention, early intervention and innovative cures;
- Melanoma Patients Australia to deliver support and information services to patients diagnosed with melanoma and their families; and
- PA Foundation to support a research study into the early diagnosis of melanoma in high risk melanoma patients.
