Training underway for the 50 Midi-Smiddy riders set to embark on a 570km, 3 day cycle tour from 27-29 May 2011.
The second annual Midi-Smiddy saw 50 cyclists tackle a 560km course over three days from Brisbane, taking in Toowoomba and Warwick.
The Half-Smiddy saw 20 riders unite over a 5 day, 900km around New South Wales and the Darling Downs.
The inaugural Midi-Smiddy was a 560km cycle over three days from Brisbane taking in Toowoomba and Warwick. The 60 cyclists collectively raised $160,000 for cancer research.
The fifth annual Bottlemart Smiddy Challenge was held 4-11 September. 60 cyclists completed the 1600km journey from Brisbane to Townsville to raise funds for cancer research.
